Sweet Water
I do quite like the seaBut it tastes of tears to me...
So let me play in the sweet water.
No tidal hurly burly
No sand between my toes
Just sweet water flowing
Gently in a stream.
Oceans overcome me as they
Moodily swish and sway...
The vastness is too great
The depths to deep to know.
My sweet water meanders to me
In an uncomplicated way.
Lets me dabble in a babble
Lets me dream and sway.
So keep away the salt water
Is all I have to say.
