This Is Just A story In Verse. In Nine Lines.

CURTAIN CALL (Additans)

I sat at the back
No one there to say goodbye
The coffin with the body inside
Lay upon the gurney
Facing the final curtain
The fire curtain opened
The gurney rolled the coffin forward
The fire curtain closed - as I bowed out
And I were no more

There’s a stark and metallic finality to this Ken. Disturbing.
