BOOKS PENDING

Each day I trawl the charity shops & book stores for books
Old & new books
Like a drug addict after a fix - as like a child looking fore sweets
I am always a looking fore sumet to feed my addiction more additions
To my ever growing personal library - me mate Lloyd estimates I've have
Five thousands books at least proberly more than that
My armchairs piled up to overflowing with books that I've recently trawled
Awaiting to be read - be shelved - subjeks - topics - anthers
My addiction - unsustainable - maybe - ever unsatisfied
Maybe bookworms in my mind
My quest continues ever on & on

Yes! Books! I'm like you about that... I love reading them and collecting them. That's one thing my douce moitié and I enjoyed doing when we were in his hometown in England, going to the charity shops on weekends, and I found so many good books at ridiculous prices. Charity shops like that aren't so easily accessible in Québec, so that was a great experience for me during my times over your side of the pond :) Your words are reminding me of all those good memories, thanks.
