Wovens
Somewhere another day is rising from LightSaying hello my friend, goodbye the Night
Is gone away again to sleep no one knows
We're wide awake, ok, let's see where it goes
Time to take a smoke and cup perhaps a bite
Time to write a note to read and burn
Line the roads and avenues with faces freshly minted
Some are wishing for a star not reading what is printed
I'm walking backwards into traps, dynamite
Questions flicker vaguely pages turn
Into fields of books unread, blank covers shown
Glances more than looks the thread woven unknown
