dry air
the weather played around
went all sultry
pouted had a good cry then came
the sun sultry in a different way steamy
as in sauna as in
i can take it if you can as in
you are less than insignificant as in
i am hell in carnate
as in as i suffer so shall you
then a shift comes a zephyr of a sort
to take me
from this midwestern doldrum take me
somewhere west west of here anyway say
goodland k s or julesburg c o
where the air is dry and a man can breathe
and a woman can breathe and a man and a woman
can breathe together if they're of a mind
