READ NOT TO JUDGE

To read to enjoy
Never too judge
That's fore those
Who lack the gift
Of understanding
That they who
Have no
Empathy at all

Hm, makes me think that always sticking on the technical side of writing is like going to an art gallery to pick apart the paintings instead of experiencing them. It's kind of cold and keeps you away from the warmth, I think. As you said, it's an awful lack of empathy. Well-expressed, thanks.

I agree, Ken. It's much more enriching to me as a reader when I approach a poem with eyes alert to the virtues of the poem, rather than with eyes that pounce upon flaws perceived or actual.

Empaths are my favourite people! Well written, Ken.
