Cat Humour

A Feline Affaire

I will not hurt you little friend
and shall not speak
Of the adipose tissue that has amassed
Or of the gas that you have so recently passed
The way your breath hints of rotten calamari
My dear precious kitty I am so sorry
It is I of course whom am at fault
The experts say just half a teacup of kibbles a day
But my little chubs would you be content
Or howl like a demon in your lament
And if your teeth should I attempt to brush
Would you bite me in glee, leave in a rush
So my feline pal shall we say a draw
I stay out of the way whilst you do chaw
In happiness in merry bliss
Just give me a purr, hold the kiss
