Today I
Today I met someone in old New YorkShe said she could not say her name
So said I, " If this thing is to work
Let's pretend it's all a game."
She had a place out on the Vineyard yo
With a ballroom and a Majordomo
She ran with people I would never know
Like Futurama and the Cuomo
Said I, "My dear we disappear sometime
Down dark rabbit holes to sew the wind
Said She, " No fear, I hear the air's sublime
Just mark my word dear souls, oh never mind. "
Let's pretend it's all a game
If this thing is to work, so said I
She said she could not say her name
Met someone from old New York, today I.
