Having trouble with my sight today. I saw the request for a none sense verse. thanks for all your comments, I've loved them all. sight like my poems vary day to day. as do the poems I've read by all the lovely people who share there innermost thoughts.
And the ands decided not to go to school,
Because the buts kept butting in.
Someone gave them half an inch,
Which broke the golden rule
The ends became at a loss
when they had been used at the start.
It made them feel very cross.
So who pushed the cart up the hill?
Must have been a force.
One thing we know for sure,
It couldn't have been the horse.
Why don't they listen to what I say?
X couldn't have marked the spot,
Because spot hadn't finished his essay.
The farmer said he had caught the villain
Who had poached his eggs,
Tried to find the soldiers to dip,
But they'd all run away on their tiny legs.
Which was all to strange
As they were made from bread.
The just became the unjust
When just the ticket missed the bus.
The nose did all the running,
Which intern called the nurse!
What a silly poem,
Going from bad to worse.
Its not my fault really,
someone asked me to
Make up a nonsense verse.
