Rainforest
Raindrops exploding down on prehistoric leavesLike liquid transparent shotgun shells
Only soundless as in some dream of wet mornings on patterned animal skins
Slipping silently past;
Underneath umbrella canopies moving waves
Like brightly colored carousels at play
Upon some conjured up terrestrial shore,
Wordless sounds, exchanging lines of thought
Lost in a tiger tight embrace
Losing breaths
To live.
