Thinking about where we are in the universe.

GOLDFISH BOWL

Where are we in the scheme of things,
Living lies in a field of dreams.
Dodging bullets all day through,
Living life in the human zoo.

As we travel through the universe,
A thought pop's in that I must converse.
Outside our world where doing fine.
But what happens when we travel in a straight line.

I think I'd find It pretty droll,
To realise were living in a goldfish bowl.
I'm not saying universe doesn't have some girth,
If traveling straight we go from earth to earth.

What happens next is up to you,
As we live our life in the human zoo.
Knowing now that we're in trouble,
Waiting for someone to burst our bubble.

Thoughts like these leave me perplexed,
While others leave me feeling vexed,
Waiting to be dissected like some insect,
Wondering, Waiting, What comes next.

The eternal question with no answer, eh :) It'd be droll, but at the same time, I don't think I'd feel all too terribly surprised by it! Life can be stranger than fiction at times, so really, anything's possible lol Don't mind me, I'm very, very tired at the moment. I enjoyed this, thanks.
