Love lost

All I WISH

Just a kiss from her tender lips,
To feel my arms around her slender hips.
That's what I miss from her loving embrace,

The way her face lights up a darkened room.
The way my nostrils flair at her perfume,
Which touch's me as no others could.

I sigh, Does love live on when part of it dies.
I must confess, love watching her wake up,
With exuberance she used to dress.
With make up on each day,
would seem so easy fresh.

But now all I seem to see, Is
Her back its all that face's me.
We sleep so far apart,
Where we used to share our hearts.

I miss those sunshine days,
When we used to do all together.
Going out, walking, Talking,
Holding hands, Never mind the weather.

When finally we shake of this mortal coil,
Please put our ashes together.
So we can share one last entwined embrace,
That would last forever and ever.
