LAURA & CHIPS

Now at last Laura & Chips
Reaching an understanding
Chips no hiding so much
Chips no longer hissing & spiting
Hiding less & less ; Chips aloud
Laura to stroke him a little yesterday
Some time soon, Chips lay up on Laura's lap
When he is ready not before in Chips own sweat time
Tom cats are like that don't you know
