Armaggedon Moon
Tonight beneath an Armageddon MoonYour fragile skin so frail and paling
Like the memory of a time bygone
Between the wars we were in love
Between the stars that shone above
Our eyes and heads
Lost in our beds
Of dice and chains
Beating our brains
For the simplest clue
Bruising black and blue
Dying to grasp that which fades so soon
Tonight beneath an Armageddon Moon . . .
