This would be
My cross to bear
I could be.
The only soul,
Let the world's hate
Flow into me.
If I'm allowed a voice,
Then let this be my choice.
As many others realise,
Just what I've done.
Strap me to a rocket,
Send me into the sun.
Let me take the hate away,
I don't wish to walk on water.
I don't wish to swim in sand,
I don't want to be canonised.
I'm just an ordinary man,
Who threw his life away.
My eyes are open
I'm not blind,
Let me do this for mankind.
Although to me,
There seems to few.
Let me do this
For the children too.
Before it becomes to late,
For with me gone.
There would be
No reason to hate.
As I would take,
Anger and hate
Away with me.

Sometimes I wish,I could be.
