THE TOWN OF THE LONELY

The town has a population of 60,000 give or take
Yet the town has so many lonely inhabitants
Even those born in the town - yet feel like outsiders
Many have migrated to the town - only to find loneliness
The Beatles song says it all in - Eleanor Rigby
In my mind I think of all the Lonely People
Who live in the lonely town
