Just the ramblings
Of an old man
But not the years.
Love forgotten,
Not the tears.
Childhood
Beatings remain,
So does the fear's.
Cannot remember,
Why it never brings,
Herald the angels
Beating wings,
To the fore,
Then again
Is that the devil,
Knocking at my door.
Or just my thoughts,
Escaping, drifting
Through the floor.
Down to the waters
Below, Saw the river
start to flow.
Saw two fairy's riding
On the stream,
Being helped along
By a pair of bream's.
Have you ever
Wondered why,
You see a rainbow
In the sky.
I think it happens
When,
Two rainbow fish.
Give one another
Their first kiss.
Do you wonder?
So do I, so do I.

Of an old man
THOUGHTS
I remember days,But not the years.
Love forgotten,
Not the tears.
Childhood
Beatings remain,
So does the fear's.
Cannot remember,
Why it never brings,
Herald the angels
Beating wings,
To the fore,
Then again
Is that the devil,
Knocking at my door.
Or just my thoughts,
Escaping, drifting
Through the floor.
Down to the waters
Below, Saw the river
start to flow.
Saw two fairy's riding
On the stream,
Being helped along
By a pair of bream's.
Have you ever
Wondered why,
You see a rainbow
In the sky.
I think it happens
When,
Two rainbow fish.
Give one another
Their first kiss.
Do you wonder?
So do I, so do I.
