The Republican party, under guidance

by FOX news and Fearless Leader,

are literally telling people not to wear masks,

not to get vaccinated—in a nutshell, to die.

And the party goes on—the bowl games,

the markets reaching record highs,

people outbidding each other for housing

while tent encampments proliferate.

Meanwhile, the docile, progressive left-wing

cracks jokes on late night t.v., China

steamrolls another ethnicity into oblivion,

Putin wishes he could, and the band plays on.

My daughter, on the other hand, fosters a puppy,

my son performs random acts of kindness.
