This wasn't what I thought I was going to write. It was wherever my mind wanted to take me. A stark reminder if we forget to love just hate.
What will we remember.
The one that did wrote,
That silly old goat.
Or will we remember ,
The lies the hate our fears.
Our children's eyes,
Filling with tears.
Or the warmongers long gone,
That the world That did nothing,
As our kind just looked on.
Will someone out there.
Please listen to our plight.
Our Lord's prayer;
Citizen's of this earth,
Burning Bright.
Will we still have,
An ozone layer tonight.
Embers reaching up so high,
Who told you it was,
Our time to die.
Or did you know,
What was going to happen.
And wrongly thought.
We wouldn't be caught napping.
So people of our earth,
Ignoring the wars.
They didn't want to fight,
Tell us please.
Will we finally destroy,
Ourselves tonight.
Amen to that!.

TIME IMMEMORIAL
As time immemorial, .What will we remember.
The one that did wrote,
That silly old goat.
Or will we remember ,
The lies the hate our fears.
Our children's eyes,
Filling with tears.
Or the warmongers long gone,
That the world That did nothing,
As our kind just looked on.
