Time Solutions

Time dissolves scenes
Short stories were once novels
Cable spans;now abridged
Footpaths of lines narrow to tightrope syllables
Thoughts swing ominously in an inner wind
Backward walking memory appears
Ghostly companions whispering'
"Come, join us once again, oh please we miss you so."
Startling breaths remind that it's only
A momentary attempt to escape from pain,
Scenes to dissolve Time.
