i am lynn

the quiet one

morning suits me

pre-dawn

time to listen

emily   time to read

my girl rosalia

maybe write   then

she stirs

i hear her thinking

coffee

i begin to unravel

my cocoon of quiet

begin to remake myself

as one of two

emily remler

rosalia de castro

This poem may be small, It speaks volumes to me. Often I self reflect in the quietness of dawn's early light. Loved it, Plus if I thought of a coffee would you make me one too?
Many regards Alan

So, Lynn enjoys the music and the poetry. Lucky Lynne. Mornings in my house are the best time, before the cocophany when everyone wakes up . I have learned to flow, absorb, detatch....write it out...

Worthy of some kind of accolade, this poem resonates with me very much. It takes a great deal of skill to impart so much information, so many mental pictures and feelings, with so few words.

Superlative. These short lines are tentative and questing, like the grey light before dawn. There's something wonderfully fresh and new about the diction, the tenor of the poem. Something tender and surprising.
