Ode to my Carol
The world felt brand new.
There was no one else,
Only me and you.
Strolling out into the unrelenting sun,
As though our lives had just begun.
The world to both off us brand new,
There was no one else only me and you.
No sister's or brothers, fathers or mother's,
Worries of a unconscionable life no demands.
No one else mattered as we walked and talked,
As we traversed our love first by holding hands.
Three weeks later our first kiss,
Who would have thought.
It would taste of true bliss,
Then we fast forward to today.
If there were no others in this world,
Only the thought of me and you.
Holding each other as we kiss,
I wouldn't want it any other way.
We still hold hands and we kiss,
As we gentle grow old remember this.
The love of me and you my love,
Is the only thing we need.
As in our arms we lay,
As for me?
I wouldn't want it
any other way.

Remembering
Remember when,The world felt brand new.
There was no one else,
Only me and you.
Strolling out into the unrelenting sun,
As though our lives had just begun.
The world to both off us brand new,
There was no one else only me and you.
No sister's or brothers, fathers or mother's,
Worries of a unconscionable life no demands.
No one else mattered as we walked and talked,
As we traversed our love first by holding hands.
Three weeks later our first kiss,
Who would have thought.
It would taste of true bliss,
Then we fast forward to today.
If there were no others in this world,
Only the thought of me and you.
Holding each other as we kiss,

We still hold hands and we kiss,
As we gentle grow old remember this.
