AS I WALK UP THE STEPS

As I walk up steps one step at a time

I felt gloomy - walking out of my

Comfort zone - to a discomfort zone

To where I did not belong
So soon I were descending them steps

Back to where I belongedBeing the outsider that I am

Such simple events in life can have great importance to the poet can't they. Outsiders are made to feel that way, but really they are often talented in some way that make the 'flock' pick on them.
