LIFE OUTSIDE PARADISE
Heard that there's trouble,Up there in paradise.
Santa's helpers were told.
Someone up there,
Has been naughty.
And not very nice,
For stealing an apple.
Of course they shouldn't,
Have taken the snakes advice.
While down here on earth
Somebody's thrown in debtors jail
For stealing a few grain's of rice
To feed his kids and wife
When all is done and said,
Wonder what he would have got.
If it had of been a loaf of bread.
Would they have sequestered him,
For the new lands or cut off his head..
It was his choice at least,
That's what they said.
As for one who stole the apple,
From the tree of life.
Both Adam and Eve,
Got kicked out of paradise.
Me, I told the wife,
The judge sentence me to 20 years.
For riding a bike with no lights,
He said I was lucky.
If it had been dark,
He would have given me life.
