Or Natural Smiles
In just a few more hoursTears will fall like icy diamonds
Down to where no one dreams anymore
No more carefree laughter
Or natural smiles,
Recalling faded smokes and ragged shapeless yesterdays
Were they thoughts or only voiceless words
Strung across mirror skies like cloudless summer caressing
To never know her dresses of winter snow only guessing
She was somewhere far from safe, she stirs
The Night tides rolling in from shores afar
From star struck deeps to a world on fire
He counts the backward breaths escaping life's restraints
For just a few more hours
Like icy diamonds tears will fall
Down to where none shall dream anymore
No more carefree laughter
Or natural smiles ,
