Dark Of
Sweetest poison in the dark of nightDouble helix dancing riddles to the speed of light
Thought to open into all consumed
To see such plays with the blanks costumed,
Mother Earth
Sister Ocean
Kin of Father Time
Mermaids telling tales no belief
Is worth the paper it takes to spell
For dreams to sell them to a thief
Being born only to say farewell
Such are the days of rain and stone
The punch drunk plays that turn and twist
Composed of clay and broken bone
Of borrowed skins one may have missed
Double helix dancing riddles to the speed of light
Sweetest poison in the dark of night
