A car came towards me, Screeched to a stop.
The driver said. " God that's a stupid place to put a pole,
I nearly hit it ". I replied. Do you mean this one ?
The one with the no entry sign at the top...
Love the poem, Surprisingly how so few words can convey
a lot. Regards Alan

What can I add? There are echo's of The Red Wheelbarrow, but it more than stands alone for its virtuosity. My advice to any aspiring poets on this site, is to study this closely to learn how to convey so much with so little. Bravo Bravo Bravo!

Surgically written leaving much to the reader’s imagination. I especially like the use of the French “ballon”. It adds to the ephemeral nature of this piece. Bravo
