Read this to my Carol
She said. "No you're coming with me".

BELIEF

It always tickles me at my age,
When on each and every page.
Of my wife's diary she writes,
Today I got up.

I think my world would end,
If one morning in her diary.
I read: yesterday I got up,
Today I forgot.

If we had to take a train to heaven,
I'm sure with all the bills we pay.
We wouldn't have enough left,
To buy a single ticket to get there.
Let alone tickets for a round trip.

I wonder do you get a round trip,
To heaven as well as hell.
I suppose no one really knows,
Which way either of us will go.

Only I often wonder which way we will go,
Think our physios are the ones that know.
My wife has to flap her arms up and down,
While i myself have to lay upon the ground.

If we both left our mortal coils together,
That would feel unreal but swell.
Then again my wife is going to heaven,
While it seems I'm going straight to hell.
