DARKEST DAYS
Cry softly lovePlease put away your fear
Where ever I may be
I will always want you near
Although you have left,
I'll always want you here.
Beside my side holding hands,
I will love you as long as there
Are grains of sands.
I unwantingly look down,
To where my love ls lying
Fast asleep underground,
Yet I can see you crying,
looking down at the grave.
At last my love I understand,
The reason for your weeping.
As on the tombstone it read,
Please don't cry for me.
As I'm not really dead,
I'm only sleeping.
Regards Alan.
The tears swelled up,
I thought I'd choke.
Then strangely enough,
From my dream l awoke.
