WASHING THOUGHTS AWAY
Unfinished scribbleA poeteer has many tales.
A dog has only one,
So here are a few.
Never truly finished,
Written just for fun.
A clean mind is hard to find
If thoughts turn dirty,
When you want to keep them clean.
Do you have to stick them,
In a washing machine.
A horizontal thought
A single tear, Fell from her eyes.
From this he made the butterfly.
With the transmogrification of this,
When all is done and said.
How do I butter my non flying bread.
Lateral thinking or just laying down on the job
Think I missed tomorrow,
It didn't turn up yesterday.
Think I'll stick around,
To see if it comes today.
Befuddled thoughts
Poems poems poems,
Some emerge as a ditty.
While others stir around,
In my cobwebbed mind.
So come on in, Bring a duster,
And see what you may find.
