Holy See
In utter silence I hear her speak to me
She knows the violence of
My hidden shame,
The twisted vowels of strangled utterance
Almost as though we meet somewhere entrance
Doors without name
Empty to loss of love
A darker violet shade is but cannot be
Strange music plays on parquet floors we dance
Cast in character roles of seeming chance
Like a card game
Hands below, eyes above
Profane and pious, lost like skies, deep as see . . .
