EDGE OF INSANITY
The age of the silly verse,Is upon me in the multiverse.
Scribbling dribble with every line,
Trying to make up nonsense rhymes.
Occasionally I lose my way,
Having no more words to say.
In the land of the nickaty noo,
Where wung diddlys live in a zoo.
Where tins of food grow plentiful,
Tin openers grow off the jam jar trees.
Is this my edge of insanity currently cursed,
Or have I just traversed the multiverse.
While looking forward to another verse,
Rainbows play colourful music non rehearsed.
While coffee beans beat on the dragonfly wings,
Driving a dancing spider into a spin.
The humming birds stopped humming,
Started to sing.
The crickets stopped playing cricket
Deciding to join in.
The lazy old leopard lost his spots,
With one last bet in the betting shop.
The cheetah stopped cheating,
So I was told.
His Saturday night fever dance,
Was a sight to behold. The fish in the pond,
Joined in when they got the chance;
Everyone loved their Riverdance.
