A SORROWFUL MONTH

What a strange month June,
Lost Daisy and Doreen
and Sharn,
Beginning of the month.

Two friends at the end,
Damon and Lorraine.
I cannot find the words,
My carol feels the same,
Although I haven't seen
Either of them for a while.
I feel emotionally drained.

It maybe sunny outside,
My tears fall like rain.
I'm pleased this month's
gone. For Carol and me
and the ones left behind,
Life from now seems strange.
