Vague Whiispers
He wants the rain
Longs for some shade
Vague empty promises
Like false love is made
False love, phony memories
Some vague whispers
On a borrowed telephone
No one answers
Left in the dark alone,
Kissing angels in blind allies
Until arms bruised black and blue
Some are red and some like roses
Are well worn and so are you,
Open books and chapter closes
Busy signals, dial tone
Odd how evenly opposes
On a borrowed telephone
No one answers
Left in the dark alone
Some vague whispers
