Yesterday was Bernards funeral for those of you
That knew him aka Ridgway's restaurant
Meads. Eastbourne. Death upsets my
Train of thought.

WRESTLED THOUGHTS

Today I wrestled,
Through a sea of thought.
Didn't realise my mind was frought,
Frozen in time thinking of nought.

Never been abroad always been a man,
Etching through life anyway that I can.
Seemingly living the life of the damned,
Nowhere to go not a lot that's been planned.

I'm just the epitome of the nowhere man,
Living surviving vicariously an almost ran.
Drifting through life never been taught,
Just the back of the class a bit of a bum.

Bullies and teachers took care of this kid,
If ending in a gutter it was bound to be skid.
With lexdysia inside me I travelled this land,
An unsuccessful poet just a nowhere man.
