MOTHER EARTH

To find myself I look within,
I cannot say that I'm pure.
of heart, Or without sin.
It's nice to recognise,
The cry from mother earth.
Of anguish to all her children,
That she alone gave birth.
She went through torment once before,
That's why the dinosaur's are no more.
Why does man's pollution cover earth,
Of pestilence and persistence of war.
Don't they realise it's happened before.

Time is a flat circle. We keep repeating our mistakes.

Your poem however is powerful. Good job.
