WHAT A PESSIMISTIC WORLD WE LIVE IN
Alzheimer's and diabetes:I know I keep harping on but,
Haven't you ever wondered how long.
As though I've gone to town,
Was listening to the radio.
My brain was sort of spinning all around,
Researching dementia on the internet,
Thinking to myself what comes next.
Wondering if I had any more to give,
While losing brain cells through a sieve.
The average life from Alzheimer's
Is ten years, while on the radio it stated;
(Although I think the internet's overrated).
On average diabetes knocks seven years off,
Now with my humour I don't mean to scoff.
Or be a bit of a div, the way my brain works.
Is, Yippee that gives me three years to live!
