As I go I see those in pain
Depressed
Looking down eyes downcast
I catch their eye
Start a conversation with them

Encourage them to talk to me

About what is troubling them
Some do so, I listen, sharing

Give them a reason to smile
Even laugheth, usually at me
With them
Maybe as their life goes
They will remember me
And smile
