Ugly fruit, An orange spiky fruit
Found a new tropical fruit
Called an ugly fruit on the shelves
Of our local supermarket
Only they decided to give it
A more exotic name than ugly fruit
Only this time they decided
To call it a horny melon
Girl at my check out
Took one look at it surprised
Then said. " This looks different
I wonder what this is called? "
Me being me replied. "Maybe
it's called a passionate pear
Or maybe a ravishing radish".
Girl from the other counter
Laughed then called out.
" It's a horny melon".
I answered back.
" And I thought it was fresh".

STRANGE FRUITS
Sometime back went shoppingFound a new tropical fruit
Called an ugly fruit on the shelves
Of our local supermarket
Only they decided to give it
