An Angel Appears
It was then that the Angel of Nothingness
Appeared in my arms
Close those eyes, said she
Such visions soon hollow
Meaningless as numbers
Shall you count th3m no more
Seas of word filling ears
Are as sands in a desert
Of tears and of stars
Like wishes relinquished,
A brief kiss of ghostly air
Vanishing into emptiness
An Angel of Nothingness
In my arms appearing.
