A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TANKA STORY FOR YOU

Tonight reindeer rise take flight.
Into midnight sky,
Police decide to give chase.
Not because they should,
Police hate flyby's tonight.
_

Father Christmas in disgrace,
Reindeer go on strike.
Father Christmas asks for help,
Given stolen bike.
Police do him for peddling.
_

Christmas caught falling through roof,
Tells police stories.
Police hold him in handcuffs;
Cause children's distress,
Caught with presents under tree.
_

Father Christmas breaking free,
Children hoop with glee.
Reindeer no longer striking,
Children fall asleep.
Presents delivered as promised.
