Poetry serves a purpose
For the poet needs to express

Serves the needs of the reader
Though the needs of both
Maybe poles apart
As different as can be
Both need each other greatly
Will only meet through words
Writ and read
The reader decides good - bad - indifferent
Once a poem is out there, lives many lives
