Oddments of thoughts
I don't illicit responses,I don't expect replies.
If I get just even one,
To me it's such a surprise.
Once asked a spirit,
If I could have a dance.
I should have realised,
Didn't have a ghost of
a chance.
I do appreciate kind words.
Although I do often feel,
I'm an aberration of myself.
Would someone please,
Put me back upon the shelf.
Wished they gave me.
Electrocution lessons,
To get me rocking.
Not elocution lessons,
My dictation is shocking.
During cold winter days,
We have an open door policy.
For it's only in the summer,
As I've said many times before.
That someone decides to close the
flipping door.
