MINDS LEFT TO BE UNDER DEVELOPED

Popular pass times
That we had taken
For granted under
Threat to save money
Such as the local library's

A spokesperson for the County Council of Kent

Said the County 'had too many libraries, so they

'Should be closed' - ' In the interest of economy!'

So what about encouraging children to join

Now libraries are being threatened with being shut

Them being being way too costly!
Iganance being cheaper in the short term

In the long term, will be far more dangerous!

You’re sooo right Ken, our local has gone, it had a lovely children’s library and ran a story time, luckily both my children had the benefit.

Our old town library is kept going, Only because of the locals.
Our Eastbourne library has a underground,
Theatre They advertised for a poet's evening.
Where you could go and share your poetry,
When I arrived I noticed it was for female poet's only.
For library's to stay open people need to use them,
Government needs to step in to help libraries diversify.
Thanks for posting ken. Regards Alan.
