Simone
The night she left Simone
Standing still and quietly staring at the stars
Light floods of brilliant plasma batting
Seemed to be flowering into
A little river of tears
Streams of endless light
Flowing down the canvas of her face
As she turned from their last embrace
She felt somehow
Forever now alone
The night she left Simone
