PERPETUAL WAR

Where will it end,
Why can you not see.
War is self perpetuating,
Bombed children continue hating.

For every slice of life,
You give a child.
Shows them,
What life is for.

Why not turn the other cheek,
It means your strong not weak.
Your enemies through retaliation,
Seek revenge for killings in their nation.

War needn't be self perpetual,
Life would be not sustainable.
Love not war unexplainable,
To the children of a war.

If oblivion is what you crave,
For each parent that you kill.
There could be a child that wants,
To send you to an early grave.

Why not try to forgive what came before,
No one truly wants a never ending war.
As who will remember in the distant future,
If you haven't guessed, Your children of course.
