There are many a muse over the years
That have inspired me
This was one of the many

A LITERAL GIANT

When I'm feeling croak:
I pick up a poetry book,
To lift my spirits higher,
And takes me out of the mire.

A very good read,
That my mind it does feed.
By Thomas Ingoldsby Esquire;
With many a humorous fact,
Of life looking back. Indeed:

Dare I say that keep me enthralled,
Warms my mind when It's cold.
A literal giant amongst men,
Who I wish that I could call as a friend;

Who inspires me to write,
poetic verse day or night.
Which I will continually do till my end:

On this poetry site me with little voice,
I wrote for the editors choice.
Don't wish to sound mean,
To share one of his poems.
Raven of Rheims:
But it got lost in the ether of time
So it seems another one of my squashed dreams.

Sincerely yours till the crack of death
