FIFTY FOUR YEAR'S AGO
It's been fifty four years hence,Since I first met my lovely wench.
I didn't realise her heart flustered so,
When we met so many years ago.
Although I didn't think back then,
She was my who my what my When.
My yesterday's, today's and tomorrow's,
My wife my lover, Confident and friend.
Strange to think when she looked at me,
she new, this was the boy she wanted.
for her beu. As a man I never knew,
Then again I think I didn't have a clue
She wasn't uncomfortable to be with,
From this my love for her it grew.
Each day that we share together,
Is wonderful bright and new.
When it's time to shed our mortal coils,
Heaven or hell, What will be will be.
Will we end drifting forever apart?
No, She says you're coming with me.
