the earth is red and bleeding
please she pleads
the mountains are whispering carried in the winds that wind them
above the crawling clouds that lull the waving meadows below passing but never once looking back
you pop into my mind in the mildest of moments wanting to tell you everything like i know you like that
like we've a shared history
i chose the windy terrain whilst fiddling my bare ring finger searching for both a sign and answer
the earth is red and bleeding
please she pleads
waiting patiently knowing you are a made up story i continue all the same

please she pleads
mountain people
the mountains are whispering carried in the winds that wind them
above the crawling clouds that lull the waving meadows below passing but never once looking back
you pop into my mind in the mildest of moments wanting to tell you everything like i know you like that
like we've a shared history
