TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
To whom it may concernI've written this letter many times,
I've traversed each and every line
The one's I thought you wouldn't like
Well there the one's I burned
They taught us in skool to write
To whom it may concern
I hope this one you'll like
It's the one I didn't burn
Laura Lee sends her love
Each day she makes me grub
Some days the chickens don't lay
There the days that we don't love
To day I'm learning how to fish
For clams and toads alike
We would try to eat most any dish
Even the one's we didn't like
It's being separated we couldn't take
We learnt to bide our time for Laura's sake
As any wayward children would
We snuck away at nighttime
To our homemade cabin in the woods
They search for us nearly every day
But our cabins hidden real good
Underneath a waterfall in a cave
Beneath the woods
They locked you away for being
An accomplish that's what the papers say
I've learned to read well good
So I'm teaching Laura Lee
As any brother would
I'm sorry dad got away
He used to punish us every day
For things we never did
It seemed Laura got more spanking
Than me across his knees
She was only a five year old kid
He used to punch me
Where the bruises don't show
After socca I always hid
So I didn't have to shower
With the other kids
When they catch him
I hope they give him life
For wraggin on us children
And his wife
Today I caught a rabbit
To put into our skillet
I don't want to turn out like dad
I didn't have the heart to kill it
Well I'm a big boy now
I think I'm nearly ten
So Laura must be eight I guess
We're still together surviving
I think that we are blessed
We were wondering
Would you like to live with us
When it's time to be let out
From Laura Lee and your ever loving son.
P.S LAURA LEE AND ME BOTH AGREE
WOULD YOU MIND TO MUCH IF WE
WELL.....CALLED YOU MUM.
